As usual I always get caught up in the FUBIOV! attitude: self-indulge and live the good life sometimes regardless of cost. Downtown restaurants & local bars all with the beach water vibe!

At the Hotel Luminary, the FUBIOV! moment was instant. A suite overlooking the water, downtown energy just steps away, and that peaceful reminder of how good life can be. Standing there, taking it all in, I couldn’t help but say Forget You Buddy I’m On Vacation.

I wish I’d known how different downtown really is; safe, clean, friendly, and full of people already living in a FUBIOV! state of mind.

Must-see or must-do

Make time to get out on the water; explore an island, unwind for a few hours, and soak in every water activity that reminds you why you came here to live FUBIOV!.

What would you do differently next time?

I would stay for a longer period. There were so many attractions and restaurants I wanted to explore, especially knowing Fort Myers is home to the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, where Thomas Edison spent his winters experimenting and relaxing along the river. But now I have a reason to go back!
